Works well. Exactly like it’s described.

The original wall unit was 7 YO and malfunctioning: opening the door without being pressed on occasion.. This one installed easily and is working fine so far! Be aware that if your motion sensing capability (for the lights) has stopped working, then a new wall unit may NOT fix that. It did not for me. Seems that is (at least partially) controlled by something in the GDO head.

I have two Craftsman garage door openers that uses the Wall Control model 2C472-1 this part failed and sears parts wanted $50 for a replacement. The Chamberlain Motion Detection Control Panel 935CB is an exact duplicate and works fine at less than half the price. If you have two craftsman garage openers and want them to match you can put the new circuit board into the old sears housing. Remove the two screws that hold the wires on the back, pull off the black cardboard backer then carefully pry out the board at the top v-notch below the top screw hole. One of the green LEDs even lines up with the open door button.

I installed this, and the Lock button and light switch and garage door opener worked fine. However, when I put it into automatic mode, where the motion detector should turn on when there's motion (or body heat in reality), then the light was always going on. After 5 minutes it would go off, and then within a few seconds go back on. My garage temperature is pretty normal (about 60F). I've returned it and am getting a replacement. Hoping it works.

I bought this control panel for the motion detector. I already have a working door opener & light switch. This unit works ok, but must be within about 5' of where you want it to sense you coming into the garage to turn on the light. I have 2 walk through doors in my garage & I wanted it to come on with entry from either door. I had to mount it on the wall between the 2 doors. Which is ok. But I wanted to just replace the control at the garage door. not possible in my garage. The motion detector is not a motion detector but a heat sensor that detects your body temp entering the room. It specifies in the directions that it may not work below 32' & above 100'. My garage never reaches either of these temps unless the door is open for an extended time it may approach them. My the garage is in the basement of my house & is heated & cooled.

I love love love this gadget. I used to hate walking into the garage and by method of touching wall in the dark try and find light switch. Now, i don't have to do that anymore! This little thing detects your presence and once you open the door it turns the light on! How cool is that?! It works just a regular garage opener, very easy to attach to the wall and comes with this little extra feature of turning lights on for you so you don't have to walk in the dark. I definitely recommend it.

I have a Chamberlain HD920EV garage door opener installed by a service in 2013. Last week of September 2017 the motion sensor light control failed (part 41A7327-1) for motion sense only . The open control and manual on/off light control both still worked. So, I ordered this new unit which was clearly stated to work with Chamberlain units manufactured after 1999. Mine clearly was. I installed this new unit and the green "active" lights came on . However, none of the "open door" , "light control" or "lock" push pads activated anything, regardless of where the side "auto/off" switch was placed. Clearly the unit is defective as I re-installed my "everything worked but the motion sensor" and everything except...still worked. ugh. I just tried connecting it with short white/red wires to the opener itself and still same result. Defective .
