Swimming Pool Game changer ! Buy this now !!!! This stuff is fantastic. I purchase it for a drink container that has a small spicket that was dripping in my refrigerator. However it’s pool season and I was setting up my pumps and hoses and I was fed up with Teflon tape and remembered I had this and it is a 1000% upgrade. It doesn’t stick together and it can blow in the wind while you’re wrapping and it doesn’t become tangled in itself. Also, you just need to go around maybe twice and with it being thicker it is the perfect thickness and sealed all my hoses immediately. I would highly recommend this for anybody who has an above ground pool that needs some type of tape to put around all your valves before applying your hoses. This made set up of my pool so easy and in record time.

In my opinion I think this is the best thread tape there is. It does the job.

I'm a full-time RVer and an old-school automotive gearhead. This is a good tape and works very similarly to the yellow gas-rated PTFE tape, but for a fraction of the price. I had originally been using the yellow PTFE tape, rated for gas fittings. But an RV neighbor stole my big roll of it when I let them borrow it to fix their water spigot. (This was at a campground) They left the next morning and didn't leave the roll on my picnic table as I asked them to. Anyway, I went back to using the white tape for a little while, and it's garbage. Honestly, the white tape is a waste of time. May work temporarily in a pinch, but honestly, a waste of time. With the white tape, you almost always have the issue of it riding up the threads and shearing. Even if you apply it counter-direction to the threads like you're supposed to. So- onwards to this product, the "blue" tape. I had never seen blue PTFE tape before, but according to the reviews on here, this one is really good. So I decided to test it and I am happy to report that YES. It is very good and works so much better than the junky white PTFE. Works JUST AS WELL as the yellow gas tape and actually a bit better than the yellow tape for WATER applications. This is because this is a hair thicker than the yellow tape. ALTERNATIVELY, look for Milrose Blue Monster 'Gas Guard' if you want a true yellow-equivalent.

10/10 my favorite PTFE Teflon tape, more durable, higher thickness, better tearing then any other brand I have used. The blue is also suitable for *almost* all uses, the yellow tape takes care of the rest.

I like it as it is thick and requires fewer winds of the run of the mill white teflon tape. I also like this as it works for water, gas and air applications

The minimal price difference between cheapo plumbers tape and this makes getting these a no-brainer! There are some things in this world you should not skimp out to save a few pennies... Plumbers tape, duct tape, masking tape are all prime examples. This is thick, strong, and easy to work with. I have used it on countless threads including the threads on all my water well fittings and for attaching quick-connect fittings to all garden hoses and attachments.

I was using teflon tape to install a shower head that I had purchased. Nothing I used (of the white stuff) worked. I then purchased this. No leaks! Love this stuff!!!
