The mount comes in a few pieces: 1) Extending arm 2) Desk clamp 3) Microphone to arm connector. First, tighten the clamp onto whatever surface that you're mounting it to. On the end of the extendable arm is a short black rod. This rod should easily slide into a hole in the clamp. There is a thumb screw on the clamp for securing the arm in place. Ensure that this is loose when inserting the arm and tight when the arm is firmly in place. At this point, you have to unscrew the tripod mount (comes with the K669) from the microphone itself. Now screw the microphone into the microphone to arm connector (Make sure that it's firmly tightened). On the empty end of the arm (not the clamp end), there is a short silver rod with a threaded brass piece. The microphone to arm connector will screw right onto piece. From there, plug in your mic, neatly route the cable, and you're all set!
