Nice quality, certainly do not run small, maybe true to size, I would have liked a bit more snug, maybe when they are washed, I do not know if they really are the length advertised, or maybe I don't know how long my legs are, but they will have to be significantly shortened, which is a bit annoying.

Love these jeans. I'm 5'6", 150 lbs & they fit great. Just a little too long but the "short" was just a little too short. I've been wearing this style (the Amanda version) to work in for years now. They hold up really well. Worth the money

True to size. I’m 5’4” and the length is perfect. A little stretch. They are not tapered. They are straight legged. I am giving these a 4 star because they aren’t tapered. Other than that they are perfect and comfortable.

These will make you feel special. I love the fabric, feels snugly with a nice bit of stretch, not overly denim-y and easy to dress up. I do believe they run a bit roomy. I was able to downsize and they fit perfectly.

not tapered. i wore this GV Amanda tapered years ago. loved them. this new pair says tapered but definitely straight, bordering on bootcut. (measured my levi straight leg & they are 15" at leg opening) I love the fit and how these look from waist to knee, but baggy below. the leg opening on 10 short is 15", my guess they manufacture from tall pattern then cuttting the taper off for med & short lengths. do not look as pictured. shame as I was set to order more colors thinking I had rediscovered my perfect jean again.

Typical fit for this brand; it works very well for my figure type. Some stretch in the material makes them very comfortable and the price is great. Many compliments on the dark brown, as well.

I am 5’4” and weigh 147 pounds. My waist is 39 inches and my hips are 41 inches. I am short-waisted, but since I have a tummy a high-rise fits best. I have an athletic shape, straight up and down with all three measurements practically the same. I normally wear a size 14 in jeans with an inseam of 29-30”. I ordered a size 16 short and a size 14 short. The 14 was too small in the waist and way too big in the seat and thigh area. The 16 fit the waist better but the hips were of course even bigger than the 14. The length on both pair of jeans was good in the short size. I really liked the quality and the color of the coffee and the white. I thought they were well-made but much too big in the hips and thighs and too small in the waist. Both pair were very big in the leg area also.These jeans are not for apple shapes or anyone with a tummy. If your weight is in your hips and thighs and you have a smaller waist, these might fit you quite well. I can’t say anything about the stretch except the waist did not stretch to fit my waist in a size 14. I wish the waist had more stretch because I thought they were quite well-made and the colors were great.

I honestly burst out laughing when I took these jeans out of the plastic sleeve. There was no way I'd be able to fit one thigh let alone the rest of me into 'that'!! Well I took the challenge and not only do they fit but they fit exactly like the model in the website pic with the Frisco wash....snug through the waist and hips and straight down to the top of the foot. For reference I'm 5' 9" and 135ish lbs and the size 6 (Regular length) fit like they were tailored for me. (Ladies please be kind and offer this information; it helps determine sizing when shopping online). However, I do have to agree with a number of the reviews that were posted for this particular item. The fabric, style and 'taper' on these jeans has changed pretty dramatically. I should know since I have a pair of Amanda jeans that I bought from Amazon about two years ago. At that time, I bought a size 8 in the 'long' length and agree that not only has the fabric changed but the taper has pretty much disappeared. The earlier versions were considerably more cotton rich and elastane poor. I can't argue with a label that indicates the following fibre content: 60% cotton, 30% polyester and 2% elastane. While I'm not exactly a wiz at math....I'd say we're still some 8% short on fibre content. The leg on these new Amanda jeans (at least 3 affixed labels and little swan embroidery on watch pocket prove it!!) is definitely more of a straight cut and the fabric on the pair I received in remarkably similar to those Oprah-loved jeans where you have to size down from you normal size because you're basically wearing something with serious compression. Having recently tried more than a dozen different pairs of jeans before lucking into this pair I can say that I'd prefer something that's instantly forgiving, soft and looks good to holding out for stiff cotton that takes ages to break-in successfully. Personally I highly recommend these jeans. The price was great, they fit perfectly, are soft and comfortable and look great...love them!
