These brackets worked great for our leftover hickory floating shelves. We used incredibly heavy wood, and actually fastened the brackets on the outer edge of the wood so we could hit the studs. They are solid as rock!

These brackets were used to build cat shelves throughout a spare bedroom. They are well made, quality, thick and installed perfectly. The cats have been running across the shelves for 6 months and there have been no issues with the integrity of the platforms. The cats feel confident and secure. One cat weighs 15 pounds and the other is about 12 pounds. They are sometimes on the same shelf together.

Love these brackets. Bought a set of six and decided I needed more. Now I have an extra set and they match our decor perfectly.

These were kind of a nightmare to install as there are multiple factors at play. #1, do not use the provided hardware. The screws and anchors do not fit consistently together and this will destroy your wall (see picture). #2, you have to determine the appropriate spacing between brackets. #3, you have to ensure the brackets are level across one another. #4 the brackets may have slight deviances in their angle impacting your approach to #3. #5, you need drill / mark precise holes. #6, you have screw in the anchors exactly to #5. If you fail on #6, you have to start all over again. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but it was a beat down to get them up.If you are not OCD and don’t care much about being exactly level, you’ll be ok. If you are a freak about being level, get ready for a project.
