I've been using the WOLFBOX X5 for 1 year now, and I'm genuinely impressed. I spent a long time comparing dash cams before buying this one, and I'm glad I chose it. The first thing that stood out was the video quality. The 4K front camera is incredibly sharp, and even at night it captures license plates much better than I expected. The rear camera is clear, and the interior camera is a nice addition, especially if you have passengers or just want complete coverage. This is my first review after using this for almost 20 Days: Pros: 1. overall packaging is good. 2. Camera quality is as described. (there are plenty of YouTube videos available). front 4k delivers amazing quality, Cabin and back camera picture quality is pretty good. 3. Engineer for installation was arrange from Vendor and he was quick to install and do the demo. ease of installation 4. pretty amazing night capture, great visibility on the road and covers wide angle, good audio quality (cabin recording) Cons: 1. No Internet connectivity. you can connect dash cam from mobile and download offline videos or take memory card and then use it to download data. However, if dashcam can user mobile hotspot, connect to internet that will be nice. 2. 3rd party storage integration. for example: I have one drive subscription. So, if I can change storage path on dashcam to folder on mobile( basically one drive folder), it will automatically download and sync all videos to cloud on the go. 3. it accepts predefined commands in specific format. for example: "turn on wifi" --> this will turn on dashcam wifi but if you say anything else, it will not accept. I think it can be much better. suggestions: 1. cabin camera should detect Driver fatigue level, if he is sleepy and ask to take rest with some alarm. 2. a bit bigger screen will be nice. 3. create some training videos or links on downloading, editing videos or combining cabin camera with front camera etc. specifically training videos for vlogs will be quite handy. overall nice purchase. 4/5

For a premium dash cam advertised with front, rear, and interior recording, this is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the memory card is not included, despite the high price, resulting in additional expenses. The biggest disappointment is the after-sales support. Amazon is not responding properly to my replacement request, and WOLFBOX is also not responding to my complaints. As a customer who has spent a significant amount on this product, I expected timely assistance and a proper resolution. Instead, I am left dealing with a faulty product without adequate support from either side. A premium product should come with reliable performance and dependable customer service. I've been using this dash cam for some time now. My full review is this: 1. Installation - It was very convenient. Not a complicated thing to do. It's pretty straightforward. Also, there's additional stickers in case you mess up the alignment. 2. Camera Quality - Honestly I never pulled the SD card from the camera to view the picture quality after installation, but recently I was in a minor fender bender while I was reversing. On the spot, it was decided it was my fault, but that night I checked the footage for the first time and it didn't disappoint. It was a rather good and clear view even with audio from the outside and inside. That actually helped me in that incident and I was glad I invested in this item. 3. Camera App - Application required for this is the wolfbox app itself, which I can connect to the dash cam via wifi for which username and password is given in the UI of the camera, so it's an easy connect and you don't have to remember it. Once connected, you can view the live footage of all 3 cameras and download any older recordings as well. (Although an easier and quick option is to take the sd card out and view on any other device). But still the download option is there in case you don't have the option to read an SD card during accidents. 4. Overall Experience - Given the price and 3 channel view which was my need, I think its one of the best buys from my car 5. Room for Improvement - I haven't got anything to complain about the product till now. It works flawlessly every time I start the car. And yes, I haven't installed a hardwire kit for parking recordings yet. But will post maybe another review once I understand its battery consumption. Also, one thing to mind while installing the rear camera. If your car has a high mount tail lamp, the red light from it might impact the rear footage as the red light reflects on it and may cause some hindrance. So better to keep that in mind while installing.

Ich habe die Dashcam hauptsächlich als Rückspiegelersatz an meinem Wohnmobil installiert. Installation: Natürlich brauchte ich dazu noch die Verlängerung. Es gibt 10m und 15m, schwer abzuschätzen wie lange die Installationswege sind, aber die 10m haben ausgereicht für ein 6m Mobil. Bis 7m sollte kein Problem sein. Hier wäre es besser, wenn Wolfbox auch noch eine Verlängerung für das beigelegte 6m Kabel anbieten würde mit einem wasserdichten Schrumpfschlauch. Das wäre nachhaltiger. Ich habe handelsübliche 4 polige Verlängerungen ausprobiert und diese haben alle funktioniert. Inbetriebnahme: Hier ist sicherlich zu erwähnen, dass das Handbuch - auch die online-Version - nachlässig gemacht ist. Auf dem deutschen Handbuch sind die ersten Seiten spanisch. Da hatte ich schon aufgegeben, aber der Service ermutigte mich, noch weiter zu scrollen und da kommt dann auch die deutsche Version. Eine halbwegs gute Übersetzung, allerdings finden die übersetzten Screenshots nicht den Weg in die Firmware. In der Benutzeroberfläche ist Deutsch unbrauchbar. Alles andere ist schnell eingestellt. Über GPS kommt die Uhrzeit und sollte auch die Zeitzone kommen und auch Sommerzeit. Das sind aber Funktionen, die in der Benutzeroberfläche zu verändern sind. Verwirrend und unnötig. Beim Rückspiegel kann vertikal der Blickwinkel eingestellt werden. Horizontal hat man 150 Grad. Das finde ich etwas unnatürlich, weil ein normaler Rückspiegel etwa 60 bis 90 Grad hat. Im Effekt ist das, was man dann auf dem Monitor sieht, viel kleiner, viel weiter weg, als auf den normalen Aussenspiegeln. Nutzung: Helligkeit und Schärfe der Kameras und des Monitors sind gut. Bei Tag könnte die Helligkeit noch etwas höher sein, insbesondere bei sehr viel Sonne und ggf einer Sonnenbrille kommt es nicht an einen normalen Spiegel ran. Auch selbstverständlich ist, dass das Auge von Fern- auf Nahsicht immer umfokussieren muss, weil der Monitor nun mal kein Spiegel in die Ferne ist. Wird am ehesten Gleitsichtbrillennutzer stören. Aber der Monitor ist der Beste, den ich bei allen Dashcams, die ich getestet habe, finden konnte. Ich habe eine 128 GB Sandisk Pro verwendet. Diese muss erst einmal auf Fat32 umformatiert werden, bevor man sie anschließend auf einem IOS oder MacOS Gerät lesen kann. Ein reines Formatieren in der Dashcam reicht nicht. Die Dateien werden als Transportstream (.ts) mit einem Untertitelfile abgespeichert. Unter IOS kann man diese Kombi dann mit der VLC App anschauen. Für MacOS gibt es den Player von Wolfbox. Weil ich die Filme aber auch im Rahmen der Erstellung von Videos verwenden möchte, ist der Workflow in Summe etwas umständlich und verlustbehaftet. Ausserdem muss die Karte immer aus dem Spiegel genommen werden. Einen WiFi-Zugang gibt es nur bei der G840S. Aber das Material sowohl von der Front- als auch von der Rückkamera ist für eine Reisedokumentation nutzbar. Service: Jedes Problem und sei es auch noch so klein oder groß wird von dem Serviceteam (ich hatte Bonnie aus kontinuierlichen Ansprechpartner) sehr kompetent und vor allem zeitnah beantwortet. 7 Tage die Woche von China aus, d.h. wenn man Nachmittags eine Frage hat, dann kommt die Antwort meist morgens um 4:00. Wenn man am Vormittag was anfragt, dann kommt die Antwort oft auch innerhalb einer Stunde. Da wir das oben beschriebene Problem mit dem Bildwinkel nicht verbessern konnten, die G900 aber das Feature hat, wurde mir gegen Aufpreis ein Upgrade angeboten, das auch hervorragend abgewickelt wurde. Man bekommt den neuen Spiegel und ein kostenfreies Retourenticket (natürlich alles in und nach Deutschland) und schickt dann den alten Spiegel zurück. Nun habe ich das Zoom-Feature und endlich einen natürlichen Eindruck der Entfernung der Fahrzeuge hinter mir. Man sucht das Feature vergeblich im Handbuch, aber es funktioniert gut. Und habe nun auch statt TS-Dateien MP4-Dateien, die ich direkt und ohne Umwege und Verluste in mein Videoschnittprogramm übernehmen kann. Desweiteren ist nun die Benutzeroberfläche auch in Deutsch nutzbar und damit auch die Darstellung von Datum und Uhrzeit und Wochentag in der gewohnten Form.

I can't fault this. I wanted a rear-view/reversing camera for my van and plumped for this one. The forward looking camera was, for me, a bonus. The kit came with more than enough cable to allow me to install the rear camera above the number plate and feed it through the back door, along the roof and through the roof lining to connect with the display screen which clipped firmly over the existing rear-view mirror. The GPS sensor was easy enough to wire in, again by tucking it under the roof lining and down the A pillar. The forward looking camera is part of the screen that clips onto the rear-view mirror. The power lead for it all was a simple feed above the roof lining and down the other A pillar to a 12v supply. Picture quality is excellent on both cameras. I chose not to wire up the rear camera to the reversing light circuit. I'm more than happy with the view from the camera and don't need the guide lines to assist with reversing, but the option is there if I want it or need it. For me this is a great investment, cheaper than a trip to the body shop or a claim on my insurance if I relied solely on my mirrors and reversing sensors and had a mishap, plus I have the added security of recordings on the micro SD card from both cameras should I be involved in a no fault incident.

The screen and touch responce is great. It has nice features. Front camera is pretty good but rearview is not as good after dark. Some pictures that are uploaded can be misleading and make you purchase a different model rather than what you want. More importantly, the customer support is phenomenal. They will fix any issue and make sure you are happy with the purchase and the brand. Happy to own a Wolfbox branded product.
