Love this sponge. If you are a squeezer you will love it.

It hold a lot of liquid and great for a no-rinse solution. One pass to clean, another to run the dirt off. A couple squares have fallen off after 3 washes. Hope it holds up. If not, it's not too expensive to grab another.

Beware! I should have known the price was too good compared to some of the other similar sponges. The picture shows the result I had when I put the sponge in water, not what you would expect, and not worth the cheap price.

Great sponge can't tell the difference from the more expensive popular brand models.

I've been doing rinseless washes for a little while now. Up until now I've just been using a high quality microfiber wash mitt. I've seen people using these types of sponges so I figured I'd give it shot. The description says the sponge comes vacuum sealed although mine did not. I can tell it was at one time vacuum sealed though due to a bit of deformation on the sides. I'm not sure if my package got a pin hole in it and the sponge expanded or it was repackaged. The little bit of deformation did go away after I used the sponge. My photos are from directly out of the package. The listing photos don't make it clear but there are cuts on both sides of the sponge. It's a good size and the cut outs on each side for your thumb provide good grip. I've done four vehicles so far using this sponge and it's not bad. I haven't observed it causing any scratching or marring. I do like using it better than the mitt for rinseless. Since this is my first time using one of these sponges I can't compare to any other ones. I know some of them can get kind of expensive. If I had a car that was in pristine showroom condition maybe I'd opt for one of the more expensive ones but I'm happy with this one and will continue using it.

I picked this up to replace an old car sponge that was falling apart, and I was looking for something a bit more substantial. The first thing you notice is its size; it's quite large, and the indented grips on the sides are absolutely essential. Without them, it would be really awkward to hold onto once it's soaked and soapy. The bright red colour means it's easy to spot in a large bucket. It has fantastic cleaning power, holding a massive amount of suds which makes washing big areas like the roof and bonnet much quicker. The grid pattern on the foam seems to help lift the dirt away safely from the paintwork. While the product page mentions it can be used for rinseless washing, I still elected to rinse my car down after a scrub. For a traditional wash, though, it works very well and feels durable enough to last, making it great value for money.
