I guess if you are using similarly colored sauce like catsup and hot sauce the color of the tip will tell you which one is which if you have not labeled the bottle. Say if you have catsup in yellow and hot sauce in blue **Q: Are these bottles freezer safe? Let's say I want to premake some sauces and store them in the freezer, will these work?** A: Short answer: I don't know, but personally, I wouldn't want to risk damaging the soft rubber opening that the sauce will come out of. If it were me I'd use a zip top freezer bag to store the sauce and only use these bottles to dispense. **Q: Are these bottles microwaveable?** A: We checked with the manufacturer via FB, they said that these should not be microwaved. **Q: For those that use these to store paint how do you keep them from leaking and keep your paint from drying out?** A: I found there is no guarantee it wont leak. I have had silicone in two bottles for over a year with no leaks, and two bottles with urethane resin i two other bottles and one component of the resin leaked so I don't use it for that resin any more. I think as long as the diaphragm end is kept clean after final use that will help from leakage and for the paint drying out you can use teflon tape around the threads to give the bottle a more air tight seal even though it isn't completely air tight. They are fantastic for that purpose--easy to fill, and they DO NOT LEAK. I also like their NSF approval. There is, however, one thing which I really dislike: several hand-washings did not remove the strong plastic odor inside the bottles. I do not want my honey to have a plastic taste, as some varieties are quite expensive.
