Good basic magnet wire.
I use a length of this as a long wire antenna for my shortwave. Does the job quite well!! I'm not into winding coils, so I can't comment other than to say it looks like it will do just fine.

I ordered the wire to use in winding a coil for a crystal set I've been building. It was just what I needed, came on time, and got the job done.

Use this to make find metal slivers in your hand
Great stuff, enamel holds up well. Spool kind of gets tangled if you have too much tension on it while winding. Use care, and you will be happy. I wrapped this wire in tight coils around a cardboard tube and glued it stiff. By connecting it to the subwoofer leads in my stereo I.was able to crank up the power, and when passed over a splinter of metal in my skin the fluctuating magnetic field let me feel where they were so they could be removed. I'm happy!

Plenty of wire for many scientific projects
I had for to school science fair. We build a simple electric motor and there are plenty of leftovers for future projects. Thou I feel like it is a little bit thinner than other wire that came from the science kit. Both wires are marked as 24 AWG. Overall it didn't matter and didn't affect our project.

Overall good product just make sure you know the size you need
I purchased the wrong product so this did not actually function well for me but if I had done more research about coil making, I believe this product would work well. If overalls functioned in my test due to the wrong wire size

It's magnet wire.
I really don't understand this stuff, I try and I try to make anything that involves a coil by other people exampling, and when a wire coils it's just inert to I coil it. It's not a question it's a energy flaw I think in my energy. Radio, transformer, electromagnet or anything it just wont matter, coils do not do anything more then that's a shape if I try.
