I missed my picking fresh leaves 'window' & had a family picnic that I needed to bring our 'Lebanese version' of stuffed grape leaves to.... which never happened after sampling these before plating. These leaves are are all different sizes, super tough (evn when cooked too), and spine! The veins in the leaves are ridiculously spiney - to the point that you're pulling out more of the stem like veins than chewing or swallowing... Next yr I'll make sure to pick enough to even freeze them vs relying on jar leaves like these. The sizes of these are anything but consistent as well, but the ones that aren't torn or full of holes, are usually the smallest leaves I've ever seen- which also makes them a bit tough to roll bc there's so little there to work with!
