It also cleaned oil stains off of a tan top for a fiat 500. **Q: Just got a 200 Chrysler convertible with a tan roof I was hoping this would be good to clean it** A: It worked good on my Sebring tan convertible top. **Q: Do you have to thoroughly wash the top first? If so, does it have to dry completely before using this.** A: No. I wet it down and then use the cleaner, scrub thoroughly, rinse off until the water washes clean, let dry, then spray on the protectorant **Q: Is this safe to use on a cloth top?** A: I have a light brown canvass top on a 2008 mini convert and it works perfectly.
