If you're still confused, consider the weight of aluminum pots and pans versus stainless steel pots and pans or cutlery. Aluminum (in my opinion) is the perfect material of choice for this particular design. It's smaller and fits in the palm of your hand, while also being thicker than other IASTM designs, which therefore provides for a much better grip than a stanless steel version.
