Can I use VS-01 while menstruating?

We don’t recommend using VS-01 while experiencing moderate to heavy bleeding, in order to allow the VS-01 vaginal tablet to fully dissolve and absorb. Day 1 of each protocol starts as soon as bleeding stops.

Can I be intimate while using VS-01?

Yes—you can be intimate while using VS-01, though we recommend abstaining from intimacy for 12 hours after inserting a tablet, to allow the tablet enough time to dissolve completely.

Can I use VS-01 while pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive?

As with any new health protocol contemplated during pregnancy, pre-conception or while nursing, we recommend consulting your physician or obstetrician before using VS-01.

Can I use VS-01 while on contraceptives (IUD, vaginal ring, oral contraceptive pill, etc.)?

VS-01 is safe to use alongside contraceptives, including an intrauterine device (IUD), vaginal ring, or oral contraceptives (birth control pill).
