Made in United States Review: This Thumb Stud Works! - I received a Benchmade Mini-Taggedout knife as a gift, but I had trouble using the slit on the top of the blade to open it, so I installed a brass Kwik Thumb Stud. Well, the knife looks garish enough with its orange handles, and the brass thumb stud made it look like a Mardi Gras throw, so I ordered a stainless steel Kwik thumb stud and installed that on the Benchmade. Then I installed the brass one on a 40+ year-old Gerber LST knife that was my workplace EDC back in the day. Now I can open the LST with one hand! It was easy to install both studs, and the studs stay put. Opening the knives now is so much easier. BTW, just for fun, I tried slipping the brass stud through the slit of the Benchmade blade and installing it upside-down. It fit that way, too, but I didn't like the aesthetics of it as much. Review: Make one handed opening easier - This is a great quality thumb stud. I have several that I have attached to my Buck 110 and 112 knives. They make it a lot easier to open the knives one handed.
