This lamp looks really nice in my room. It has a classic look, is solidly built, has a sturdy weighted base, and easy to put together. I love the remote option so I can adjust the brightness from my bed or reading chair. I also love the fact that the remote is magnetic so I can stick it to the lamp, the attached metal table, or my bedside table. This keeps the remote from being lost! It has some preset lighting options, bright cool light for reading or soft warm light for “baby”. My only complaint is that mine arrived with a crack in the top decorative part. It doesn’t affect the function of the lamp but hopefully won’t cause it to break.

Only took about five minutes to assemble. The lampshade looks wrinkled and small until it is put together then looks fine. It’s the only part I had to look at the instructions for. It even comes with the lightbulb! Very pleased!

Cheesy product. Looks ok in picture but very cheaply done, finish isn’t rich and has orangish undertones, swing arm is miniature, table is molded thin metal, base isn’t heavy enough to stabilize in carpet. Very disappointing impossible to repack to return so stuck with something unusable.

I needed a light beside my recliner. This lamp (for me) is a bit taller and the table is higher than I would prefer, but, it fulfills its purpose. The remote operated bulb isn’t that important. It’s just a foot in the door for someone who would like that kind of thing. We’ll see. For the price I paid… no complaints. It assembles organically but CROSSTHREADING is a genuine concern… so watch out for that. Believe me, I’ve bought some really bad lamps over the years and this one doesn’t appear to be a bad deal. More about function than anything else.
