what is the difference between the smart switch and the unmanaged switch?

Unmanaged switches are plug and play - connect one of the ports to your existing LAN via Ethernet to receive additional physical Ethernet port connectivity via the switch. Are all ports capable of 1000mbps?

Yes all ports are capable of 1000mbps. Ex: My home internet download speed is 400mbps, I use cat6a cable for all connections starting from modem to router to switch and finally to all wired devices. All ports have green lights when device is on indicating it is running anywhere from 101mbps to 1000mbps then when I go to speed net I can check my speed on each device and am getting my full 400mbps that I am paying for. When I turn device off lights turn orange indicating speeds lower than 100mbps because my port is off and inactive.

can I connect with ethernet cable to my fire stick tv and my laptop and use them both at the same time?
