What numbers are the width, depth, and height?

The dimensions given in the Amazon description for this product are accurate, they just don't say what each of the dimensions are. So here they are: W=23.9", H=14", and D= 19.4". You probably should add another inch to the depth to allow for the cord if you are installing it as a "built in".

Can the kitchen timer be used while cooking in the microwave?

No, the timer cannot be used while cooking. Very disappointing, as my previous device could do both simultaneously.

Is the interior also stainless steel or is it painted?

The current model is painted grey inside with an inadequate LED light.

Does this microwave come with a trim kit for a built in cabinet use

The trim kit available does not fit this MW, nor does Panasonic make one. The trim kit is 24 3/4" wide but the MW is 24" wide. It will work with this unit, but you will have to install shims (wood?) between the sides of the MW.
