Aluminum oxide is a fast, versatile, economical cutting abrasive. Aluminum oxide is the second hardest mineral on earth, second only to diamond. Aluminum oxide can be used for cleaning, deburring, etching, and finishing in wet and drive-blasting applications. Aluminum oxide is harder than glass making it ideal for etching glass surfaces. Aluminum oxide does not break down as fast as glass blast media and has a longer cycle life than most blast mediums.

A: Aluminum oxide is great for stripping and preparing for paint or powder coating.

**Q: Can I use this to remove baked on vinyl wrap from a car? Is it safe to use on fiberglass? Thanks.**
A: No you will go through the fiberglass. Use a heat gun three inches away from vinyl heating up the adhesive till you can peel up a corner and keep massaging it with the heat gun and peel it off. Use a plastic scraper gently to help peel it.
