The only reason it is not 5 stars is that it's comes with absolutely no instructions, but being that I have installed several cold air intakes I was able to figure it all out. It makes the engine more loud because you don't have a the restrictive factory air box that acts like a muffler for sound, but this is mostly when the engine gears down for passing etc. I would say it's helped a little with mileage and I've noticed my temp stays a little cooler especially when towing my boat. If your on the fence about buying this, and have some mechanical knowledge and common sense, buy it, it's a great deal. It's as well made as the K&Ns and other name brands I've installed on my vehicles. ## Frequently Bought Together - RiAiCiING Cold Air Intake kit with Heat Shield Fit for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L V6 - Hooke Road 3.6L Throttle Body Spacer Compatible with 2012-2025 Jeep Wrangler JK JL/Gladiator JT - Rough Country Cold Air Intake Pre-Filter Bag for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler - 10480 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.th/products/742704483-cold-air-intake-kit-with-heat-shield-fit-for-2012](https://www.desertcart.co.th/products/742704483-cold-air-intake-kit-with-heat-shield-fit-for-2012) --- *Product available on Desertcart Thailand* *Store origin: TH* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
