Dog Collar 21" to 24" Size Large

This is the only fly repellant I have found that actually works. I have tried several different sprays and creams and none of them worked for more than a couple hours. My poor Akita's ears were getting so eaten up, it was awful. She hates it when I bring her inside, but it was to the point I didn't have a choice but to keep her in because the flies would swarm her so bad. These collars keep the flies away like nothing else. I used them last summer and her ears healed quickly. I just ordered more for this year so we can stop the problem before it starts. She's an Akita, so she's a large dog and this fits well. Yes it has a strong smell, but she doesn't seem to mind it. It lasts for a couple months, so it's well worth the money. I will always have one of these on hand for her in the warmer months because it lets her enjoy the outside without having to worry that she's getting eaten alive.

This dog collar has been a life saver for my Chow Chow during the late Spring and Summer months when the flies are really bad. Flies tend to flock to his ears and face area and this collar helps to keep them at bay. I also use this with the Farnam Swat Clear Fly Repellent Ointment and it definitely does the job!

These do not stay on the dogs! They just have a snap to hold them on and either the snap doesn't stay closed or the dog can rub up against things and get them loose. However, the smell does keep the flies away if you can keep it on your dog.

One of my dogs stays outside when I go to work. We have these crazy biting flies at my house. The flies were eating her ears up. They would be bleeding swolen every day when I got home. I tried bug lotions, sprays, area foggers, bug zapper, petroleum jelly, and everything else people suggested.... but, still... she was covered in flies at the end of the day. (I do clean her pen daily) .. I figured I would try the collar. It stinks. I put it on her and she hated it. She was acting like she was being punished. But, at the end of the day.. no flies. We have been using it a couple of weeks now. Her ears are completely healed.. and she dosent mind wearing the stinky thing anymore. I would recommend it to anyone with fly problems.. and I will definitely be buying more.

This collar is SO strong smelling. I have 2 large citronella candles on my porch I light all the time, and it’s somewhat pleasant and they’re effective for flies. So I got the collar for my dog who has been being harrassed so badly lately by flies in the yard when he plays in his pool. But my dog was miserable wearing the collar. I was hoping the smell would die down but it didn’t. I had to take it off him THEN wash his neck because he smelled so bad from wearing it. Honestly I have left the collar sitting on my patio for a few days now and it’s been keeping flies off my porch while I sit out there. So it’s effective but not good for dogs

They work to keep flies away from my Anatolian Shepherd's ears. The flies were keeping their ears raw and getting infected, now after just three days their ears are beginning to heal. Yet to be seen if they work on fleas. The smell is very strong and if you get it on your hands or clothes it does not wash off easily. Also you can smell your dog approaching. It may be as the oils dry in the collar the smell will lessen and I imagine their effectiveness. Well worth the money. Sizing on the dogs neck only has two adjustments, but they have not lost them while guarding the herd.

This collar is a game changer for my livestock guard dog! He had blood on his nose and sores on his ears until I put this on him.. all healed up! The smell is perfect and the size is perfect for a large pyranees! I will replace this one when it expires!! Love it!! And our dog is thankful!!

Works for our German Shepherd. I'd say lasts about 2 months, maybe less. But worth it for his poor ears in summer time with the bugs.
