Both of these gave a good clean cut. **Q: Does this fit on top of the old wooden window board ??** A: As long as the measurements of you wooden board is smaller than this then yes. You can use no nails type glue to stick it down. **Q: Can this be fitted straight onto a plastered window base as a primary window sill?** A: Naturally any base should be sound. I have stuck these to a timber window sill with no problems. I can see no reason why it should not work on a plaster base sill. Use a good adhesive like Gripfil or similar.
