Super paring knife.
This is absolutely the best paring knife I’ve ever used. Somehow I misplaced my old one that I had been using 45 years!! Sharp as a tack and very easy to use. I’m so happy I found this on Amazon!!

Sorry product from Old Hickory.
Sorry products that smear the Old Hickory name. I have used Old Hickory kitchen knives for over 50 years but these last ones have ended my purchasing from them. The knives were crudely made with very little edge on the blade. The wooden handles were also crude with huge splinters visible and no polishing at all. After considerable effort I was able to grind a rudimentary edge on the blade and sharpen them I also had to smooth the handles. The knives met no stars of finished and certainly ended my purchase of Old Hickory products. These should have been confined to the "unusable" pile as they were defect riddled.

A bit dull
Great feel to this pairing knife. Wood handled and good length. But, is it carbon steel and stains easily. You have to sharpen constantly.

Best knife I ever used.
Years ago I was given a full set of these knives as a gift. But over the years they got lost from moving. And friends borrowing them and not returning them. I’m rebuilding my set. I love them. They are quality made. And they stay sharp for a long time. Treat them right and they will last forever.
