Had this for a year or so now. It’s my favourite whacking stick. No signs of failure. Not even close.i treat it terribly. Leave it in the rain, I throw it around. Drop it in the mud, ran it over, cover it in grease….on and on. I won’t buy any other brands of sledge hammers now. Just these. I was Leary at first so I just bought the little 3 pound one but If your contemplating getting the package bundles, trust me just go for it you won’t regret it. I’ve used the vise as well it is awesome too.

Good hammer less vibration to the wrist

Great little sledgehammer. Plus, if you break the handle legitimately on this sledgehammer they will give you $1,000.00 from Wilton.

Perfect weight and length to swing with one hand but still heavy enough to get the job done. Completely indestructible unless trying to prove a point. Been using one like is in the field for 7 plus years till I lost it and had to replace.

I'll give an updated review the more I use the Hammer. So far, I've only used it lightly, but for things that needed a little more umph than a Ball-peen hammer could deliver. This works. The only thing I would like with this hammer, so far in my usage.. is if the handle were a bit longer. I have another sledge hammer, 2.5 lbs, old school, with a wood handle, and the head has that hexagonal design.. but the handle is more ergonomic, and its better balanced. It has one more inch of length on the handle compared to the Wilton hammer. And it makes all the difference in the world, usage wise.
