Regular lubrication of the shredder cutting cylinder is essential for maintaining optimum shredder performance. Fellowes Document Shredder Oil adjusts the blade to extend the life of the shredder. For best results, grease the shredder every time you empty, or at least twice a month. To grease the shredder simply press and hold the reverse button. While pressing the button, press oil onto the whole paper entry. Press and hold the reverse button for another 10 seconds to make sure the lubricant spreads over the knife. 12-ounce plastic bottle with elongated tips for complete coverage.
