This is an excellent product and does what it says. I am running my raspberry pi 3b in the armor case. With stock thermal pads, my pi overheated in around 20 seconds while running the cpuburn test (temp > 85 degrees). Switched to Gelid pads and ran the test continuously for 40 minutes and the max temperature my pi reached was 65 degrees! I bought all the three variants, i.e., 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm for my future needs, though for raspberry pi 3b with armor case, 1.5 mm and 2 mm are sufficient. It is helpful to sand the thermal contact points of the armor case to remove the black paint it comes with. This pad is better than some of the commonly available thermal pastes, so go for it with eyes closed.

Tengo poco de usar almohadillas térmicas, pero definitivamente está es diferente a las otras que he usado. Mientras las almohadillas térmicas con propiedades de 3K/mK se perciben como micas plásticas de consistencia resistente, este producto es diferente. Es necesario que se tenga cuidado al manejar/manipular, yo recomiendo que corten las piezas que van a usar, luego retiren uno de los protectores plásticos de un lado y lo coloquen en el área donde se requiera, después retirar el del otro lado antes de colocar el disipador, esto pues el producto básicamente es masilla muy suave. Si la quieres usar para un Xbox OneX los 2mm quedan justos, pero si puedes compra el de 3mm el cual si es mucho pero por su consistencia muy suave se ajustará como la masilla que viene de fabrica, una sola lámina alcanza para las memorias y el chipset muy pero muy justo, así que necesitas hacer cortes muy precisos y/o que el umbral de error sea negativo (osea que quede más chico) para que alcance porque si es pequeña la lámina pero si alcanza. No tengo herramientas para confirmar la transferencia de calor pero puedo asegurar que con las pruebas usándo este producto si se percibe que el calor es transferido exitosamente. Si, es caro si lo comparan con otras marcas con menor transferencia (según sus especificaciones) pero creo que notarán la calidad diferente.

Salve, ho usato il pad, diviso in due parti uguali, per raffreddare passivamente due ponti a diodi raddrizzatori avvitati sullo chassis dell'alimentatore di un mixer. Il pad serve a meglio dissipare il calore generato tra componente e chassis. Devo dire che svolge egregiamente la sua funzione anche se ho utilizzato anche una ventola dall'esterno per dissipare meglio il calore. Si tratta di un prodotto costoso ma molto utile e di gran qualità. Lo consiglio anche in ambiti più gravosi dove le temperature in ballo sono decisamente più alte. Saluti

I had to change battery on a smartphone that has a massive heat dissipating plate (for gaming) but the juncture to the tiny chip is a small piece of thermal pad that fills the gap. The plate does not directly touch the chip, there is a space with a thermal pad. Now, changing the battery requires removing the heat dissipating plate. The thermal pad they use is NOT reusable. It is gray and grainy, it breaks down into piece when removing it. So, I needed an equally good thermal pad to replace theirs. All that heat must go trough a 1/4" X 1/4" piece of thermal pad. The phone works fine and does not overheat.
