LOVE this AC unit! I’ve had a Windmill for three years and just got this one as I moved into a two-bedroom for the second bedroom. It was so light, I installed it myself, and it took me maybe 10 minutes max. I love the app because I can start to pre-cool the room before I’m home. And if I’m worried I left it on, I can always check from my phone. Cannot recommend enough, I always get compliments on my window AC, which I never thought I’d say, but it really is beautifully designed!

This is a great window air conditioner, easy to install, easy to use, effective, and pretty quiet. The only downside is that this only works on single- or double-hung windows that slide up and down. This is an excellent window air conditioner, and I recommend it as long as you've got a single- or double-hung window to hang it onto. Installation is pretty simple and doable with just one person, though having an assistant will help a lot. Once it's installed, you can easily just push the buttons on it to get it working and cooling down your room, which it does with a lot of efficiency as long as you've got the right A/C for the space. It doesn't make a lot of noise, even when it's running it's pretty quiet; and the light-up LEDs on the control panel don't stay on when they're not in use, so this won't add a lot of light to your room. It's simple to work with, since the panel has all the controls but you can also use an app to control it, or the remote. It performs really well at cooling, as well, only taking a couple hours to cool down your room by a good 10 to 20 degrees depending on how hot it is. It's got good energy efficiency, only using a small amount of energy; it fully depends on how often and how hard it has to run, of course, but it takes about as much energy as a fridge does, or even less in a lot of cases. You can't use this A/C unit if you've got sliding windows, casement windows, or anything that doesn't slide up to open. Your windows also need to be pretty wide, you need a 20 inches or so of width across the window to work with.

I have not taken it out of the box yet…I am FURIOUS that there is a cancer/reproductive birth defect warning on box..but ad forgot to mention that fact. I am so FURIOUS. I researched this company..none of product website or Amazon mentioned a cancer warning. It’s being returned. By law warning must be placed in ad not only on packaging. Furious!!!!!!!

I really like the voice control option and the remote works well too. Also has an easy to download app mode. Has a good range for the size and is most efficient in our bedroom. Keeps air crisp the way we like it in summer. Not super noisy and the LED panel is easy to read. This is very user friendly and all that is needed for installation is included in the kit. Excellent quality for the price tag. Simple to control the temps. The washable filter makes this unit no problem to clean and maintain.

I can’t say enough good things about this unit. It’s perfect for smaller spaces like apartments, home bedrooms or offices etc. Picking up the box felt like this weighed a ton but after opening the box and removing the unit, it was manageable. Surprisingly, this isn’t obnoxiously loud. It’s the opposite and runs rather quietly for an air conditioner. It’s not a hindrance when working around it. The app performance is what won me over. You can control this air conditioner from anywhere with the features in the app. You’re can set the air to be on when you come home or turn it off from your phone over wi-fi connectivity if you accidentally forget. You can use voice control along with Alexa and Google home or the app without ever leaving your seat. Set up only takes a few minutes just as long as you’re installing with a window that opens and closes by sliding the window up and then back down. Also you’ll need to download and pair with the app from your phone or iPad. The unit has a control panel with auto-dimming LEDs so they do not disturb you. It cools off rather quickly and keeps the room nice and comfortable. This is an exceptional value for the money. It’s certainly reliable and an easy way to stay cool.

I grabbed this SpacesWindmill 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner for my kids’ playroom because for some odd reason that room is not connected to our central AC system. During the summer it gets HOT in there, especially in the afternoons, so we needed something that could cool the room down fast without a bunch of hassle. So far, this unit has honestly been doing what we needed it to do. It cools the space pretty quickly, and I noticed a difference within a short amount of time after turning it on. The airflow is solid without sounding overly loud, which I appreciate since the kids are always in there playing, watching movies, and sometimes napping. Installation was pretty straightforward, and I like that it doesn’t completely take over the window visually. It’s been a huge help keeping that room comfortable instead of feeling stuffy and miserable all day. Definitely happy I grabbed it before the real summer heat kicks in.
