Firstly, the material is very thin and left me wishing I had spent a bit more for better sheets, but the worst part is that the elastic isn't very good and it stretches... that coupled with them not being deep, makes them slip off the corners of my deep mattress constantly. I have to fix them at least a couple times a day. I have a king sized bed and I purchased king sized sheets. These must be for California king or something bigger because the fitted sheet is not fitted at all. The color is more pale than pictured. Some of the reviews made me nervous to order but I liked the pattern so much I decided to try them anyway and I’m glad I did. They fit my queen size with deep pockets and didn’t have any loose threads. I will say that I think the name is misleading, I should have read deeper before purchasing but I thought they were 1600 thread count Egyptian cotton. They definitely are not but like I said, the pattern is nice and they are soft.
