A must for anyone that enjoys this format of story telling , and likes a DEEP story with a lot going on. Some Mangas, are Better than some 500+ pg books I've read! I know it's different, but still, this level of story telling n character building is only seen in books like DUNE or some Stephen King classics... and these guys do it with less words more ART. Beautiful. I'm so happy I gave anime and mangas a chance. This one , OP and bleach in particular.... Review: Beautiful Book - These deluxe editions are perfect, beautiful covers and crisp printed pages, an absolute must for any FMA fan. I am however stunned that my copy wasn't damaged, with the way they packaged it with other items in my purchase order. Everything was just thrown into a box, zero packaging or protection... the fact that no pages were bent or torn is an honest miracle. I won't be combining books with other items from desertcart anymore.

Beautiful editions for the collector!
The Fullmetal editions are amazing in every way. Not only is the story and art great, but these books are beautiful inside and out. The pages are glossy and crisp. The heft is pleasant and the covers feature foil lettering and some semi-embossed designs. If your kid is a collector of manga, you wont find a more elegant edition of any manga anywhere. A great gift for the manga collector.

Great quality hardcover
I love the fullmetal alchemist anime so I've been collecting the hardcovers! The pages have a high quality feel to them and the manga itself has a nice weight to it. I also love the little sketches and notes included and the color art as well. It was worth waiting months for this to restock.

It’s Good
It’s a good addition if you are collecting the other Fullmetal Edition volumes. Same good quality as the last two. Awesome buy if you enjoy the FMA series. Though I wish we got to see some more character sketches of Mustang at the end.

Fun read, but damaged during delivery
After finding the mysterious lab 5, Ed and Al each are suffering from what just happened to them. Al believes he is a fake brother that Ed created to make him feel better. While Ed is still upset with himself for what happened as well as the guilt over the night they performed their experiment. Meanwhile a friend of both Ed and Colonel Mustang is killed as he uncovers a plot that threatens everyone. This book was damaged during delivery and like the other book has a dent in the cover. The book also shows slight ink runoff at the top of the pages.
