I absolutely love Viter Energy 40mg Caffeine Mints! The taste is refreshing and not overpowering, making it easy to enjoy anytime. I am so happy I found these. I have been drinking a soda and taking tylenol for headaches for years. I can't take ibuprofen because I have heart disease, and I don't like taking pills with lots of caffeine because I end up with a kickback headache. But, the problem with drinking a soda every time I have a headache (which is almost daily), is I end up drinking a lot of soda, and I have been gaining weight as a result. These mints are so convenient, and I don't have to worry about gaining weight from one small mint. I also have acid reflux disease, and I am hoping that taking out the carbonation and all the sugar will help with my reflux. (I know caffeine isn't good for reflux either, but my options for pain relief are limited.) I do wish that I could buy these mints with just plain sugar instead of the fake sugar. I don't digest sorbitol well, so I am going to have to see how well I tolerate these over time. I tried the cinnamon flavor today, and I really liked the flavor. I am excited to try the other flavors, except for peppermint, which I really dislike. Happy for this option that can replace a soda. Maybe in the future, there will be some real sugar options? Thanks so much!! Update: I’m glad I bought the variety pack. I ended up really liking the cinnamon flavor, and none of the other flavors. I thought I would really like the wintergreen and spearmint, but didn’t at all. Now I know. In the future, I will just buy the bulk pack of the cinnamon because I really do like the cinnamon. Taste is so subjective.

I’ve been taking this in the afternoons sometimes when I start to hit that low-energy stretch, and it gives a light boost without any jitters. I’ll sometimes take it with Tylenol since caffeine can help pain relief work a bit better, and this combo actually helps when I’m dealing with tension headaches. The boost isn’t always noticeable, but it does help me stay a bit. I’ve tried a few of the flavors and prefer the spearmint one the most, it’s cleaner and easier to take compared to the others. The cinnamon and chocolate flavors is the ones I liked the least. The taste overall could still use some improvement since it leans a bit chalky and artificial. Still, it’s a convenient option if you just need something quick to help you get through the rest of the day without reaching for coffee or an energy drink which can totally mess up your evening.

The flavor is really good. It misses the mark on counteracting drowsiness. I compared it directly with Neurogum. It doesn't come close. It is a good breath mint but that is about it.

As other reviews have said, they do have a slight, earthy, bitter taste. I assume from the caffeine and/or the vitamins. The cinnamon and peppermint seem to hide it best. The flavors are strong, similar to "the curiously strong" mints. I bought the variety pack, thinking my next order would be just for my favorite. (Maybe cinnamon). I am not sure which I like the best, though. I was expecting to like the chocolate mint better than I do, but it's still good. The caffeine dose is perfect for me as it is just a little more than a can of diet cola. I like the metal tins that fit in a pocket nicely.

These are nasty. The mints leave a weird film on the fingers that grab it. Almost what your feet feels on a muggy dirty hard surface floor. The tins don’t say they’re expired but the color of the mint and tin is weird. Do they work? I don’t know. I Could only try one mint at a time. The mint is sooo strong it’s gross. I only tried the spearamint and chocolate . Hated both. I thought the chocolate wouldn’t be as strong minty, but it was equal to the spearmint. Won’t buy again.

there are times you just know there has to be something better out there. after spending 5 years trying every d*mn thing to take before running for 65minutes in the middle of the night...capsules and gums of every stinking variety...all making me jittery and nauseous from their horrendous 'flavor'...i saw caffeine mints on amazon and decided to try this brand. these are incredible! i already take double strength coffee and sublingual methyl b-12, but when you go running at 3am for over an hour through the deserted streets of L.A. you want to hit the road awake and alert...and ready to do something for an hour plus. these do it. i haven't used them running yet, as i popped 2 after picking them up, but they made me feel like i was ready to go running rather than shopping for groceries like i was. and the flavor is great enough to have just as mints. within 20 minutes i was moving around the market like i actually enjoyed shopping for necessities. finally i don't have to take gums or capsules that make me nauseated, just so i can be ready for a night of running. i love these. and do note, the caffeine is 40mg per piece, which in no way makes you feel the typical jitters of caffeine...there are various B vitamins in these which allow a bit lighter caffeine load to produce very clean and effective wakefulness, unlike every other caffeine supplement i've ever tried. i will never be without these again!
