Perfect diaper
I have a number of brands and sizes of flat diapers (including the more expensive Green Mountain Diapers, Swaddlebees, and Diaper Junction brands). I find myself reaching for the Osocozy flats most of the time -- my son has been wearing them every day since we got them. They're perfect for padfolding and laying in a PUL cover for very easy cloth diapering with no bulk under clothing. I plan to also use them padfolded as inserts in my pocket diapers. They are soft, surprisingly absorbent (my son uses them during naps without doublers), wash easily with no issues (no need for specialty detergents), dry very quickly (I line dry them indoors, and they are usually dry in a few hours), and take up little space to store at home or in the diaper bag. We took them with us on vacation and used them the entire trip. These Osocozy's are the cheapest flats available -- they paid for themselves in less than 2 weeks. They're also great as makeshift receiving blankets, burp cloths, and changing pads, and for cleaning the floor when potty training. And when our diapering days are over, they'll be used for kitchen clean up rags (they work better than flour sack towels). The only con is that they are rectangular shape, which is an issue for those who want perfect square for easier folding and pinning. I actually like the shape for the way I padfold, so no problem for me. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Absorbent, Well made, Great quality, soft, very light
I bought the 12 pack. Initially they didn't absorb liquid but after you wash them multiple times they work like a charm. I am very happy. I bought five 12 packs and would totally buy more. I love how light they are, they didn't shrink after wash and dry, they don't really curl up or wrinkle much out of the washer and they are a great size (pretty decently large for use of diaper) The important thing to know, organic cotton fabrics have a natural oil in them, this oil prevents liquid from absorbing into the fabric. so you need to wash them in order to remove all the oils. Use hot water and detergent. (Babies need a specific detergent if that's what you're using this for) Hot water/and dry on high heat. After 6 washes, that is when I started to notice a shift in absorbing. So be patient and prepared, that's how many washes it took me. And I still washed 3 more times for the results I wanted.

Wanted to try something different
We use pocket diapers, but I wanted to get these to have as back up or for emergency since they dry well without a dryer and my inserts take more than a day to air dry sometimes. It took me at least 6 washes before it became more absorbant, but I'm noticing they are getting a bit more absorbant with each wash after that since it takes a while for the natural oil to come out. I like that these are softer than the bleached kind I've tried before from a different brand. These are not as soft as my bamboo inserts but they are not too rough, they seem comfortable enough for baby to peruse around in a cover. I love these so far and use them padfolded in a cover or pocket diaper. I wish I started off with these first since they are more affordable and customizable but it's ok, live and learn. The quality is good.

They work great as diapers and burp cloths
We bought these when our son was born used them as diapers with Thirsties covers and snappis. He is now a year old, and one diaper with a cover works great during the day, with two diapers and a cover at night. These are nice and thick, they are not very soft, but not too rough either. Even when our son crawls all over the place, they don't give him any friction rashes or anything, which I was concerned about when using flats. The reason I didn't give these five stars is because they are rectangular and not square, which means you can't use some of the popular diaper folds that use square diapers. We've worked it out, though, and it's not too big of a deal. They also have seams along two parallel sides and no seams along the other two. The seams can get bulky depending on which fold you do, so you have to be flexible and find the folds that work best with the diaper. When our son was a newborn, we folded it up in quarters and used it like a prefold, but now that he is bigger, we use the trifold method. The other reason I didn't give them five stars is because the edges without the seams are ALWAYS wrinkly when you take them out of the dryer. It's bothersome and makes the diapers bulky sometimes but I refuse to iron diapers so we just deal with it. These diapers are SUPER absorbent. Our son was a super-spitter-upper when he was born and these worked great to soak up all the spit up and protect our clothes. We didn't plan to use them as burp cloths and had other cloths for the purpose, but we ended up using these often because they worked so well. It's nice having them with in the diaper bag because they are so large. We have used them as diapers, blankets, burp cloths, towels, nursing covers, sun shades, whatever. They are very handy to have around. I think if I could do it again, I might buy square diapers instead, but I think any way you go, there will be good things and bad things about it. These have worked well for us, and I will keep using them.

Good quality diapers
Update: 3 1/2 years later, baby #2 on these same diapers. I've never bought any other flats. I think at this point I have bought a total of 4 packs of these during the course of diapering my first baby. I may have to supplement some of my worn out diapers with a new pack before #2 is potty trained but he's ten months old now and I'm still working with the diapers I bought for my daughter - haven't thrown out a single one. Age and lots and lots of use has made them softer - and of course a little less absorbent, but wow - these and cheap PUL covers have saved us a fortune on diapers! My baby is now two months old and I have been using these since she was one week old. I bought three dozen and we only use paper diapers when we leave the house so they have been washed many times and have held up well. I've never bought any other kind so I have no basis really for comparison but I haven't had to because they work well for me, I'm very pleased with the quality of these diapers. **update** six months and still holding up wonderfully if anything I love the way they're breaking in, we now don't use any paper, why waste money? Cloth on the go is easy if you're just a little prepared. They asked me to rate again because I bought some for my sister and I had to take the opportunity to say again how much I like these diapers

Loved them!
When I first started cloth diapering, I bought a cheap pocket diaper/insert bundle off eBay. They turned out to be terrible. They leaked overnight, couldn't be washed in water over 86 degrees, and required almost a dozen wash cycles per load to get all of the detergent rinsed out, and even then came out of the dryer with a barnyard smell. Needless to say, I was a little disenchanted with my cloth diapering experience. I decided to purchase some flat diapers and covers to help lighten my wash load. I can't say enough nice things about these diapers! First, I was concerned about absorbency. I thought, 'how can this thin piece of fabric be as absorbent as my thick inserts?' Turns out, I had no reason at all to worry. These are just as absorbent, if not more absorbent than my inserts. I was able to cloth diaper my one-year-old overnight for the first time since I began cloth diapering. I had NO leaks, the diaper itself wasn't even soaked all the way through. The non-leakage could be in part to my diaper covers, but the fact that the diaper doesn't get completely soaked through like my inserts (even *doubled* inserts) tells me they have way better absorbency than what I was used to. Secondly, I was concerned these might be a pain to put on my kid. I watched a lot of Youtube videos to help me figure out how to fold them. It took a couple days, but I eventually got it down and putting them on isn't much of a problem. It's a little more of a hassle than my pocket diapers or disposables, but no big deal once you get used to it (although I'm sure it'll take a while for my husband to stop grumbling about it). Third, I loved how easy these are to wash! So much less complicated than my awful pockets/inserts. I wash them in HOT water and they get clean in one or two wash cycles! I'm in love. Seriously. They washed up really nicely and are super soft and comfy. The only problem I've seen is a little rash on my little guy's behind. Since the wet fabric is right against his skin with no barrier, he tends to break out when he wets the diaper. This has been remedied by more frequent diaper changes, and folding the diaper into a rectangle to lie in the bottom of the cover like an insert and give his skin a little breathing room. It's much easier to put the diaper on him like that anyway. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Just the right feel and absorbency
The fabric is quite soft with a nice weave that gets better over time. I like the freedom of flat diapers and this is my preferred brand. They hold up in the wash and absorb so incredibly well. Because it’s a single layer washing is easy and doesn’t require extreme laundry routines. These will stand the test of time and many, many washes.

No frill diapers
I have bought these flats before when I had my daughter 8 years ago and repurchasing them again with my son. They are easy to clean (we have a diaper sprayer) and dry. Once they are prep they are quite absorbed. I double them up for my almost 2 years old son because he is a heavy wetter and they hold quite a lot. I use them in a diaper cover folded to fit or stuff in a pockets diaper (for night time). They are very economical and I love not having to throw away disposable diapers and adding to the landfill. I even have my daughter old flats and use them to clean up mess around the house. They are a great investment even if you are not cloth diapering.
