The issue of the batteries not lasting has nothing to do with the Amazon Basics CR2032 batteries. Duracell and Energizer batteries in ths fob die at the same rate. So a less costly battery in this case is better.

Not much to say about batteries. The price is good and have the same performance as regular batteries. As a mat. ter of fact I always but batteries from here (boxes) or singles. These generally can last a long time. On a Hue dimmer switches its generally 2 years. These are 2032 just make sure it's the correct one. I almost bought a bigger one that looks the same till I glanced at the top of the battery. They tend to have the type imprinted. When replacing the etching is on top, flat no etching bottom. Its compatible with any 2032 size.
