Some decent reviews made me buy the Bic blades albeit with a little trepidation as I have never been able to get on with the disposable version, those never giving me a decent shave on first use or afterwards. So, long story short, I actually like these blades and I get at least 4 days' use out of them (2 per edge). When it comes to using safety razors it's all about how well you know the terrain of your own face and what you can and can't do. These razors are certainly sharp and do glide very well - when used with a decent lubricant.
