The boiled wool and thick fibers really appealed to me so I decided to buy these. I plan to use thin Marino wool liner gloves under these and so I ordered one size up. The order arrived 2 weeks ahead of the scheduled delivery date and I was pleasently surprised to find a nice, hand written note from the seller.In terms of build, the preformed thumb is very comfortable, but slightly short for my thumb. Hopefully this will change over time, so it's an issue for me. There is thicker material along the knuckle line to keep the tops of your knuckles warm. The mittens are also long enough to fit under the cuff of a jacket, or over the sleeve of a long sleeve shirt.Overall, I'm very impressed and satisfied with this purchase.
