Wet concrete?** A: I haven't had any issues with them slipping on wet surfaces. I wear them for cardio walking on pavement, grass, concrete, and around the marina area. However, any tennis shoe can slip if there is nothing to provide traction so I would be careful in wet mud or slick surfaces. **Q: I run 20-30 miles a week and find i need to replace my cohesian 8's every six months. does this make sense or should i be buying a different shoe?** A: I typically buy asics since they are good for those with knee and back problems. I do like saucony though when the wallet suffice paying $150++ for running shoes. Been running for years and you do need a good supportive shoe. I usually buy 1 pair a year or year and a half they say usually every 200-300 miles. (Though I don't keep track of how many miles.) I run 3-5 times a week. **Q: Are these good for treadmill running too?** A: I use them all the time for treadmill running...I love them! **Q: are they true to size** A: Yes, they are very true to size. I own 9 different pairs of these shoes and they are very comfortable and great walking shoes. I know, might be weird, but I'm a person that loves being barefoot and I really don't care for sock either unless I'm running, or when the occasion calls for socks. When I'm heading to the store or running an errand, I like to just slap on my sneakers and go. And these are BY FAR the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I wore these straight out of the box with no socks and didn't receive one blister or any other uncomfortable pain, rub, or mark. They were so comfortable and I even realized that my ankles didn't feel sore at the end of the day. The fit was perfect and true to size (even with socks), my feet feel really supported, great arch support, the bottoms have a really great 'grip' support, and the heal feels like it has a lot of pillow like comfort inside so that your heal doesn't rub or blister. I really can't say enough about this shoe. I chose half size larger than normal in both to accommodate my wide foot. Not much difference between the two models. This one has more padding at the ankle collar and heavier lugged sole for rougher terrain. I find this shoe to be not as comfortable, maybe due to the heavier lugs on the sole and slightly narrower fit. If you need a wider toe box, I believe the Cohesion 8 Road Running shoe to be the better choice.
