Can i use this speed control on a fantech fr250? it uses way less amps than this rated, but is it ok as long as i am under amp limit? can i go to big?

This should work as long as you don't exceed limits. Make sure you compare carefully before purchase. The replacement for that should be fantech wc15.

Will this work on a dayton 1tdu2 shaded pole psc blower, 3.7 amp and are there direction on how to wire it?

Is this on rated for 40 degree C?

The specs on the item's page rates it from 25C to 40C wall mounted. 40 is at the top of it's rating. That's pretty hot for an ambient temp. When I was using this device for a whole house attic fan, it felt barely warm in a house that was no warmer than 27 degrees C or 80F
