Doesn’t it feel great when you’re looking for something and you purchased exactly what you were looking for but also exceeded expectations? Well this is it right here. The size and built of this is well made. It functions just like it’s supposed to. It has 3 different sizes spreading sizes for your needs and a close option too to prevent any spillage. It stands upright as it should. It feels comfortable when using. The color and quality of the plastic is nice and sturdy. It’s not a cheap feeling product it’s actually worth it and reasonably priced. It’s so simple to use I didn’t need instructions. I haven’t left anything in it to vouch for the moisture level of your seeds but I will say there wasn’t any problem at all. Nothing got stuck while using it and it spread evenly when I used it. I prefer this over the hand cranking handle. This feels more convenient and not awkward at all especially using one hand and not having to worry if your left or right handed because you just switch hands to give your hand a break and to workout your other hand/arm. Seals shut without any spillage of your seeds. Very pleased with this purchase so worth it.

This is exactly what I was looking for to put down rock salt in the winter on the driveway. My only issue with it is that its hard to unscrew the top to put the salt in it, especially when left out in the cold. I usually take it into the house after use to make it easier to take the top off. Nice and sturdy plastic housing.

This will hold around 5lbs of ice melt and spreads out the salt very evenly by shaking and twisting the container in my hand. If you have clumped salt, this won’t help you.There are three hole settings. The tiny holes should have worked for ice melt but it was not coming out quickly or easily. I would guess that grass seeds would be better suited for those holes. I went to the next size holes and it worked easily to spread the ice melt.The top twists off easily in order to be filled with ice melt and reattached without any issues.

The price wasn’t bad at all, and this spreader works well with both big and small salt. It’s simple and easy to use, which makes the job quick. Overall, a great little tool to have on hand.

This is so cool and I love it it's so much easier than getting a cup or doing of the old fashioned way. So much easier and more control over where the salt goes.

Does what it is supposed to do. I bought it to salt our walk, not spread seeds. It worked fine but with salt was too heavy for this senior so I got a rolling distributor.

Really nice tool to spread fertilizer. It took me approximately 30-45 minutes to spread fertilizer on 3,000 square feet. Refilling very easily done. Definitely recommend.
