Used twice think I’m returning
I previously bought and used the Inia mask, it was my first experience with these light therapy treatments. I felt like it didn’t fit my face great where the red light leaked into my eyes and the way it rested on the bridge of my nose would make it sore. The blue light stopped working after 4months so that’s how I ended up shopping around and with this mask. I definitely saw improvement using the sinus, in my complexion and breakouts, especially using the blue light so was ready to spend a little more this time around. When I got the Shark mask a couple days ago I really liked how it rested off of my face, no nose pain, but after the first use my under eyes felt tender. Not sure if it’s bc I was laying down and the weight of the mask pushed the eye patch areas-distributing the weight there? Sitting up right the second time definitely helped.I read a bunch of reviews and didn’t research the details of the product as I should have. Costco had this mask with glowing reviews and same here on Amazon plus it was slightly cheaper. Unfortunately I saw red light and blue light and thought perfect without realizing it’s much more limited than my Inia.My hang ups:#1-There are 3 set routines/programs lasting 6,8,4 mins? With an additional eye only routine. During the 3 routines you can use the eye cooling feature at level 1,2,or3.*The blue light routine ONLY uses blue light for less than a minute!! It starts around 8:23 and stops at 7:33With my Inia I could select red-L, red-H, blue, blue+red, with option to use NIR for any of those with time options being 10, 20, or 30 minsI’m really bummed at the lack of freedom and being stuck using the 3 set programs, with the blue light being pointless really. Sure I can re-run the program but again that’s barely 2 mins of blue light. This may be a great feature for some but I feel spoiled with the flexibility to do whatever settings however long at my discretion.#2-The eye cooling setting is a great bonus however it generates a loud fan so it’s impossible to multitask-watch a movie, audiobook…bc you can hardly hear over the noise. It’s also noticeable to others ie my husband trying to sleep🤦🏼♀️#3-Batter life it is mentioned in reviews, I wonder if it’s the fan from the eye program that drains it fast as after 3 programs I had to recharge it, I just used it for a second time fully charged and it’s already 1/3 drained from 1 routine. My concern is if over time it charges/holds battery less.#4- mobility. I’m not sure if this goes for all masks designed like this but the weight of the mask, depth of the eye holes and big/heavy remote; I’m definitely not multitasking. My Inia was like a weightless neoprene that strapped to my face, the remote light and easy to tuck into a sweatpant pocket, the light bleed made vision a little off but manageable to walk around the house. As a mom of 3 little boys life is about multitasking so not sure if this design is good for me.Sorry for the wordy review, just hope it helps someone like me who expected better setting options and blue light.

Get it! Worth the investment
Love it ! Actually see and feel results as soon as 2 weeks. I can see and feel the difference in my skin. It’s not loud makes small fan like noise but it’s soothing. I’ve had it almost a year and no issues.

Spa-level results at home—unique cooling feature actually makes this one stand out
I’ve tried a handful of skincare devices over the years, and most end up collecting dust after the novelty wears off. This is one of the few that actually earned a permanent place in my routine.First impressions & design:This definitely looks like a high-end device right out of the box. The build feels thoughtful—more like wearable tech than a gimmicky beauty gadget. The mask has a secure, adjustable fit and comes with a separate controller that makes it easy to switch between treatments without guesswork. What makes this different:The biggest differentiator here is the combination of LED therapy and under-eye cooling. Most masks only focus on light therapy, but this adds a cryotherapy-style element that you can actually feel working. The cooling pads are especially nice after a long day—they noticeably reduce puffiness and make the whole experience feel more like a treatment than a chore.Performance (after consistent use):Like most LED devices, this isn’t instant-gratification skincare—it rewards consistency. After a few weeks of regular use, I started noticing:• Smoother overall skin texture• Less redness and fewer breakouts• A more “even” look to my complexionThis aligns with how LED therapy works—red and infrared light help support collagen and skin repair, while blue light targets acne-causing bacteria. The treatment modes are well thought out (anti-aging, acne, maintenance, and under-eye), and the sessions are short enough (around 4–15 minutes) that it’s easy to stay consistent.Ease of use:This is one of the most user-friendly devices I’ve tried. The preset routines take out the guesswork, and the controller/timer setup makes it feel very “plug-and-play.” I also appreciate that you don’t need an app—just put it on and go.Comfort & practicality:It’s comfortable enough to wear through a full session, though it is a bit bulky compared to simpler LED masks. That said, the structure helps it stay in place better than softer silicone versions.Real-world perspective:This isn’t a replacement for professional treatments, but it does feel like a legitimate at-home extension of that kind of care. With consistent use, the improvements are noticeable and build over time rather than fading.A couple of minor drawbacks:• Slightly bulky, so not travel-friendly• Cooling feature adds a faint noise (worth it, in my opinion)• Requires consistency to see results (not a quick fix)Bottom line:There are a lot of LED masks out there, but this one stands out because it actually combines multiple technologies in a way that feels intentional—not gimmicky. The addition of under-eye cooling alone makes it feel more premium and more effective than standard options. If you’re serious about at-home skincare devices and want something you’ll actually stick with, this is a strong investment.

Saved my cysts
I used to go to an esthetician to try to battle my cystic acne. They were so infected and big on my temples, that I'd have a headache all weekend and I could feel the infection all over inside my face (seriously!). Going there every 2 weeks wasn't enough! She would do a blue-red light therapy for me. My face would be better for a day or two, and then the infection came back. It was horrible.Instead of being at the mercy of her schedule and spending so much money per treatment, I decided since the real consistent routine I had with her was the light therapy. So, I did my research and came to the Shark mask.I used it every day for ~40 sessions by now. And my skin is finally mostly clear! No more infection. It fought off my cysts.Just be patient and enjoy the results.
