Quality product...works great
My only problem is the metal band that holds light to pole. When pulling it tight the band can act like a razor blade and cut hand...it cut mine. It should be plastic coated. WEAR GLOVES when pulling on it!

Great for the price
Great for the price. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it was just a smidge brighter. I have a 20ft pole and placed the light about 2ft from the bottom of the flag. Give its just enough light.

solar-powered flag light
The solar light works just fine. The straps are very bad. It is impossible to tighten them properly. Better straps could be provided. Multislotted metal straps are available at hardware stores; they can be tightened with a socket wrench or screwdriver. However, the slots on the flag light are too small to use them in. To improve the product, you can provide better straps and lengthen the slots to fit them.

Zero Stars
Does not work. Period. Light sensing, solar powered lights are not new. This light does not turn on at night, and does not stay on. I charged it for the better part of a week before using (instructions recommend three days). It worked for about two or three nights. I set it to half strength to conserve battery. It does not stay on after I manually turn it on because it does not come on at night. I already had it replaced once. Second unit behaved exactly like the first. Completely worthless piece of junk.

Great flag light!
Picked up this flag light. Initially had trouble mounting the base on my flag pole, but I determined that a hole was not formed in the base, and I could not get a mounting strap through the base. A call to the mfg., Maxsa Innovations support resulted in a prompt replacement. Great service. The light itself is just what I needed for my 3X5' flag. Just be sure to charge it for three days before you start using it.

Not nearly as bright as it advertises.
Mounted to the base of my flagpole. Could NOT see the flag. Moved it closer, can only see he Bottom of the flag - and it had to be very close to see that.

Good light..bad mount.
The light works very well. It's been in use during a very cloudy week and still shines brightly however the mounting process is NOT good I had to resort to tape to get it stable

No a very good unit, under powered. I bought this unit for an outdoor xmas display and even with a full day charge the light stays on for less than 2 hours. I works but not well
