Men's Highline Stretch Hybrid Boardshort

Great fabric - the plaid looks great and the fabric has a good flow - cool and light weight. Everyone was right. I bought my size and they were 3" too big. Almost fell off of me. Returning and getting the next smaller size because they are worth it. There is no swimming trunk lining, so keep that in mind if you are wanting to use them for water activities. They do have that Amazon smell.

I am a size 34 waist but I usually buy size 38 and wear a belt because I like the looser feel. After reading the reviews, I ordered a bit smaller and glad I did. Pros 1. Cool (temp wise), light, airy fabric. Good for walking around on hot days. 2. Fit well. I still need a belt but it fits my other size 38's do. This isn't a big deal because I was warned ahead of time. 3. Nice design. 4. Functional pockets for the win. 5. Cheap price. 6. Double use as walking around shorts and swim trunks. Cons 1. I feel like one day I'm going to tear this fabric. It is quite thin. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. If I'd paid like 45 or 50 bucks for this I probably would have a lot more to say, but at this price point it's really hard to be negative. I liked it, just listen to the reviewers and don't overestimate the size.

I live and work in a marine environment, and I get wet every time I go anywhere, so my board shorts are my daily wear. This is the first pair of board shorts I've had (after many years of trying all kinds) that really has all the features I want. The front pockets are comfortable to use, deep enough for whatever, and properly sewn to not spill the contents while seated. Unfortunately, they are made of mesh that is prone to snagging on whatever you put in them, including fingernails and rough weathered hands. The rear pocket is fine except for the velcro closure. Why can't we have a button? Velcro doesn't last, as everyone knows. The front closure uses a button, and there is no elastic in the waistband. For all-day, everyday comfort, that's definitely the way to go. Elastic waistbands squeeze you and leave imprints in your skin. The fit is quite large. I have a 33” waist and ordered size 32, but they are way too big and fall down when I walk. Good thing they have belt loops, so I can tie them on with a piece of cord. My only real complaint is the fly - it has a piece of material blocking it for some reason, so you have to fully unbutton to relieve yourself. I thought about cutting that piece of material out, but again for a reason I can't being to fathom, the manufacturers thought it was a good idea to put velcro on the fly too, so... I'm kind of glad to have the piece of fabric there to protect my junk from the ravages of the velcro hooks. Anybody with male anatomy should know better than to put velcro anywhere near it! These shorts are light, breathable, quick drying, and with just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable without being weird. I love them, and I'll be buying more.

Fit perfect

I like the feel and lightness of the material, but I have to wear a belt with them. Who wants to swim with a belt? I have a 33" waist, and I thought the 32" would be too small so I ordered 34". I'd say they're closer to a 36" waist.

My husband loves these. I finally managed to get him a second pair. They're exactly what he wanted. Lightweight, button and zipper board shorts. And he is so picky about shorts.

I have a hard time finding shorts I like in general. These are great! They're lightweight, they swim well, they dry fast, and they look good. I even wear these around town as regular shorts and they're super comfortable. No inner sewn in "brief-like" structure but still comfortable. Thankfully these have regular pockets and belt loops. No drawstring. I wear a polymer web belt with this, even in the pool.

These are really nice shorts for the money. As others have mentioned, the top button feels a bit chintzy, and they do run a tad big, but all-in-all, I'm impressed at what you get for your $ with these. I usually wear a 33 waist in jeans, and I went with 32 in these, and I'm very glad I did. The 32 fits me great, 34 would've been far too big.

This is actually my second pair of these. I wear them all of the time. They are really comfortable and light. The fit is great and I'm really happy with my purchase.

Cheap and small

These are light weight, fast drying swim trunks. They have only three pockets and no standard fly. I like the pattern.
