Fantastic - My Old Dvds works in it.

Plug Na play. As slow as it were running in Win 95. Lucky to find it not to be a vibrator on desk, or a noisy one wasting energy on noise rather than read/write. Not yet had an opportunity to write, but it came with a CyberLink installation CD. It took about 15 mins or longer to instal. The machines I have are pretty fast and latest.

I bought it on June 2020 and this is Nov 2023... 3+ yes and it still works fine. PS: As nowadays, we don't use DVDs. But today I needed to copy some old movies which are unable on the internet. And Dell DVD writer was just keep unattached. And it worked just fine as expected. Dell>LG. Thank You. While I have been an old customer of Amazon and usually like its services, for this particular product I would say don't make a mistake of buying it from Amazon. The product itself is good, no issues with that however Dell outright denied any warranty for this. Before purchasing I had read similar reviews saying that the product does not come with a Service Tag, something which is mandatory for all Dell products if you want Warranty or other Support for it. And since I could not see this anywhere on the box packaging or product itself, Dell completely denied any warranty for it. For products with Warranty, Amazon allows you to download a Warranty Slip once the delivery is done. But in this case I saw that only Packaging Slip was available, and nothing on Warranty. The invoice itself does not mention anything about warranty. I spent hours with Dell to understand if I could get the warranty but it didn't help. Similarly Amazon customer care also could not confirm any warranty support. Clearly this is something I didn't want so I initiated a refund for this. If you don't care about warranty then plz go ahead and buy it here, otherwise don't buy.

Laptop is delivered with Windows 11 webcam only works with windows 10 The Asus shop was only able to put whole laptop on windows 10. is there another possibility???? The fingerprint sensor doesn't recognize my finger.I let it reset it several times with other fingers

The Dell slimline DVD R/W optical disc drive was extremely easy to set up with my LG Laptop. It was basically plug and play, as LG uses the same operating software as Dell. It's excellent quality, lightweight, and comes with a USB-A connector for the laptop input. I purchased it from Amazon because of the excellent pricing.

Purchased a new computer and desktops no longer have built in DVD players. I purchased this on recommendation of my computer expert. It works perfectly for CDs and music. Has a button to push to open the tray which I wanted and many do not have. Simple set up...plug in and go. Does come with extra software you can install for burning cds. I couldn't be happier.
