Chain very sharp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Battery power finally surpasses gas. *by R***S on 9 May 2023* I'm a DeWalt guy through and through and had been eyeing this chainsaw for a while. Even though I believe DeWalt puts out quality products I was skeptical at the CC comparison claims but having used this saw many times I can tell you battery power has finally surpassed the power of gas imo. Pros - the saw is lightweight, powerful, quiet. It saws through the hardest of woods with ease. Cons - the saw has a tendency to overheat the batteries. I'm using a flexvolt 12ah and while that provides enough juice to take down a good size tree the bigger issue is with the batteries overheating if you're using the saw continuously. The only other issue I have is the lack of available replacement chains as it appears DeWalt has dropped the ball on supplying 20-in chains. I believe Oregon makes a replacement chain but they're difficult to find. Overall the saw is well built, powerful and has fully replaced my Stihl chainsaws.
