To mount it on a flat roof, you would need to build a platform to raise it above the roof. We have customers that have done that, and can discuss how to do it if you call us at 770-455-8838. Alternatively, you can have your contractor build a curb to use our curb mounted skylights (CM style), which are commonly used on flat roofs. They would then flash the curb and the skylight fits on top like a shoebox lid. The CM style is soldl here on Amazon in a 24 x 24 size, which fits the over outside of a 24 x 24 OD curb. Many sizes are available by calling us. Hope this helps! **Q: I need a 24 x 24 skylight with flashing for a metal roof. Do you have that type in stock?** A: For a metal roof we recommend one of our Curb Mounted skylights. The metal roofing industry has made curbs for skylights since they invented metal roofing. Our Amazon listings list 24 x 48, 25 1/2 x 25 1/2, and 24 x 24 skylights. If you contact us we can make any size that you need. Unfortunately, our deck mounted skylights do not work well with metal roofing. **Q: I like this but ours is a rectable not a square. Do they have other sizes?** A: Certainly we have other sizes, mostly rectangles! Just search "SIG Skylights".
