So glad that I did. Right out of the box I loved it. The fit is excellent. I am 5'9", 148 pounds, 42" chest and have an athletic build. There is room for an additional layer or two when it gets colder but it fits/hangs very well with just a t-shirt underneath. It is comfortable and the lining is good looking, in fact I slept with it on the first night I got it. Perfect for sitting around a campfire, doing bushcrafting, or doing a trek. I was concerned when ordering that it might be a "heavy" jacket...but the Swagman is sturdy without being heavy. I decided to test the waterproof claim by having my friend hose me down. Worked as promised. The only thing I don't like about Outback products are the leather patches, especially the two on the inside. But I quickly took them off with a seam-stripper. Other than that one drawback it is an outstanding coat that should give me years of use (based on how the Outback vests have held up).
