Soft and very sturdy. My daughters loved it. Protects her when she is on her gymnastic bars.

Protective Gymnastics Bar Pad, Slightly Large
The SoeKoa Gymnastics Bar Pad is well-padded and provides excellent protection for bars. The butterfly design is cute and adds a decorative touch. The only minor issue is that the size is a little bigger than expected, so it may need some adjustment to fit certain bars perfectly. Otherwise, it’s sturdy, protective, and works well for gymnastics practice.

Makes some moves easier and some harder
Fits great on the bar. My daughter uses it for her flips and it helps her from rubbing her hips against the bar. She says its harder to do some of her moves, such as a back hip circle. Glad we have it because she just moves it away when she doesn't want to use it. Good quality.
