Depends on how many plugins your project is using, but it's very low even with complex tracks.

can i use a goxlr with it ?

Only if you split your mic/headset to 2 separate inputs/outputs as you can only use 1 device for each input/output. Since the goxlr is usb only and not compatible with a toslink cable you cannot connect the two for a single output. I would say if you don't need to mix your audio on the fly and want an upgrade solely for audio input and output quality from a goxlr, then the ae-9 is better for both mic input as it's balanced(usb is unbalanced), and a much higher audio output quality. unfortunately not a balanced headphone/headset plug, but have had no issues like static or feedback from the non balanced output even at max volume. I use my ae-9 with my shure sm7b (with cloudlifter and phantom power on), and my sennheiser hd650s with no issues.
