Compact unit just works well!
A well made product. Does the job. Provides a 5 second delay while switching over. Bought it for a upgrade of my home genset panel. Completed as a DIY weekend project. Works well. A minor issue noticed was the voltage and current readouts on the device. It does not tally with the actuals measured separately. It has no effect on the core working and hence I continue to use it. Seems to be a calibration error. Spoke to the company at their given numbers, they acknowledged the issue and immediately promised a replacement.

Product failed in Six days
Disappointed with performance. Product failed in 6 days and had to spend one full night without power and spent 1000/- installing and uninstalling.

Fine...It works As intended !!
Build Quality is OK , Except DIN rail LOCK. It was broken right at first Use. Status indicator LEDs are OK , but not properly visible.

Defective item received
The device doesn't provide output when main line is available but only the generator line provides output when mains are not there. Unfortunately got to check this only after the return window was over.

REVIEW OF AUTOMATIC CHANGEOVER SWITCH SUPPLIED BY M/S WADERS
1. I am using the changeover switch supplied by WADERS for automatic regulation of single phase DG Supply from Captive Generator in our campus of the Society. 2. The function is automatic: It limits the DG Supply within the allowed quota for the apartment, therefore no need for an additional mcb installation. One need to be careful in specifying the limiting current correctly (2.5A onwards ...24A) at the time of ordering itself. If one is not sure, then opt for 24A and use existing mcb meant for DG Supply. 3. LCD displays supply volts (V) and current (A), which is very helpful if one is interested in knowing or controlling domestic consumption kWh (monthly bill or UNITS). 4. The Changeover look nice, one can read it in dark also. 5. If the Changeover is found durable enough โ it is worth buying. The review above looks lengthy, but can be useful to buyers if it helps in correct selection of the Changeover and buyer information.
