Helps with proper grip if you have big hands
Hogue HandAll Beavertail Rubber Grip fit my Glock 42 and my 43 perfectly. The 43 is harder to install but will work with persistence. I soaked both in very hot water and stretched them a little before attempting to install. They help if you have big hands to grip the handgun properly, and also looks nice.

Packs a Punch for the Money!
This grip adds just what the 43 is lacking. Having this on there makes a world of difference for me shooting this gun. I have had other slip on rubber grips in the past for Glocks that worked ok, but I keep taking them off because they slip and slide around on the gun and in your hand, especially if your hand gets sweaty at all when shooting, which mine does. This Hogue grip, however, sticks right in place on the gun. It hasn't moved a hair since I put it on, and I do quite of bit of messing around with my guns drawing them and dry firing, etc. Now, this grip isn't a "slip on" grip really as much as it is mini hand and forearm workout. It is cast just right to fit on the 43, hence why it hasn't moved at all since it got put on. Some people I guess will heat it up and stretch it on, but I just worked it on and wrestled with it until I finally got it on there, so you don't need a heat gun or throw it in boiling water if you don't want to. It's advertised as a "beavertail grip" but I was little underwhelmed on the beavertail. On my Glock 19 I installed a plastic beavertail extension (many of you may have as well if you own a 19) which I really like, and was expecting this grip to give me a similar feel. It doesn't really, in fact the beavertail part of the grip doesn't even come up all the way to the tip of the beavertail on the Glock to match it. Now I don't know if that was what Hogue intended or not, maybe that was just my impression when I saw "beavertail" in the description. Just know that if you're looking at this mainly for a beavertail extension then you will most likely be let down. Either way, this little grip was well worth the $10 I paid so I give it 5 stars. I think it feels more like a $20 grip so I was very happy with it and it really changed the gun 100% for me.

Great product, install was much easier than I thought.
After reading all the reviews and watching tutorials online showing how to install this thing, I almost didnโt buy it because it looked so intimidating, and my hand strength isnโt what it used to be. Well, I sprayed a little Windex on it, rubbed it around with a forefinger, got it started, seated, and centered nicely in about, oh, a minute. No cutting out shims from the package to help installation, no using a rag to help me manhandle it onto the grip, no boiling water to soften the rubber. Seriously, I watched videos of younger, bigger stronger guys really struggling to install this and using all those methods. Ha. Guess Iโm a bad ass, lol. By the way, this product is really nicely made, really fits well and enhances the grip and feel. Looks absolutely factory too. Nice!

Worth the Effort
Hogue grips are top-of-the-line. Fantastic fit, and feel.

Helps a lot. Easy to install using the right tool...
I own my G43 for a couple of years now and the problem is that this pistol is too small for my hands. As a result, I can be accurate with the first shot, but I have to readjust my grip for the second shot. So, I have this pistol which is made for carry purposes but I am not confident it will be effective in case I ever need to unholster it and that is not the feeling you want for an EDC pistol. I have the large backstrap on my G17 and that works very well for me (I even won some competitions with it) but it is a bit large to carry so recently I have been thinking of buying a G19 which I would be much more confident with and it is a pistol that many carry. Just in case I can save the money, I decided to get this grip sleeve as a last effort to make the G43 work for me and while I cannot call it "perfect", it helped a lot by adding a bit of thickness to the grip and I love the fingers separation because when I grip the pistol, my fingers go to the right place and feels like a more secure grip right away. So I took the pistol to the range and I immediately saw an improvement with the follow up shots. It is not perfect as the pistol is still too small and I have to curle my index finger too much to depress the trigger but the grip sleeve helped a lot. I wish it was a bit beefier on the backstrap but I will take what I can. So for now, I am keeping my money on the G19 idea. Now, installing it was a bit of a task at first because I thought "how hard can it be to stretch it around the pistol grip" but then I tried and I found out that it is not only hard but it is probably impossible. I read some reviews where people used hot water to soften it and even as a "lubricant" to have it slip on but the only time I am willing to get water on my pistol is if it is raining and I absolutely have to unholster it so I was not going to do that. Then I remembered my car trim removal tools and that worked like a charm. You can see the tool in the picture and it is a cheap tool you can pick up at any parts store or even here at Amazon (this one would do: Trim Removal Tool Kit - Pry Tools ) so I put the sleeve as far in on the backstrap as I could then inserted the trim tool on the side and worked it around the front side of the grip (all the way to the other side of the pistol). I did this move 3 or 4 times and the grip sleeve was installed. Then I used my thumb to move it back down so it is flash with the magazine opening and it was installed dry and very tight. If you own a G43, this grip sleeve is highly recommended. Especially if you lave large hands for that pistol.
