Urban Platter Natural Himalayan Gulkand Rose Petal Jam, 300 g

Very tasty and worth eating this preparation of Gulkand.

Good gulkand. Flavourful. I eat less due to the high amount of sugar in it. I use it with bananas, butter, ice cream, as jam, with avocado and in paan. The container can be designed better. I ordered 2x300g. One bottle lid was extremely difficult to open. It has the black and white inside covering under the lid. There was something sticky on the threads that I assume is crystallized sugar syrup. That's what caused the difficulty to open. I did not remove the paper covering and checked the other bottle. It was not as hard to twist the lid but was also difficult compared to other products. This one had a red and white inside paper. It had a small notch to help peel the paper but the lid tore apart.

Good product. Sugar content is just right. Liked the texture

The quality is good and so is the texture. It does not smell.l and in very good for your health. The sugar content in balanced and is sealed properly.

Taste is good. But little costly

If you like gulkand , you will Definitely like this one. The taste was fresh and the flavour was authentic … no added colors. I drank gulkand flavoured milk in summers for a sweet nights sleep. I hope there are no preservatives as mentioned on the label , that’s the reason I went for this one for having in my pregnancy…. Other family members also loved it. Didn’t taste artificial.

Great rose flavor! More the consistency of sugar than jam though.

Feel like eating dry sugar syrup

The product may not be original. It does not look or smell like any Gulkand I have ever bought.

I used it to make pan & gulkand coconut laddoo ( an Indian dessert) . It tasted perfect & blended well with the coconut. I gave it 4 star only because of the cost .
