I have at least two in each size. Some are black, some clear, and one is blue. They work extremely well on every purse or backpack I've tried them on. Usually my purse will slip off my shoulder, no matter what type of material it's made of, or what type of material I'm wearing. With these pads, I don't have to worry about that. They grip my shoulder nicely, no matter what I'm wearing the wedge shape also helps keep it on. I keep the higher side on the outside, so it's less likely to want to fall. It's nice to have the different sizes for various sized straps. It even works with a bag that has two really thin straps. I found the easiest way to do it was place the straps next to each other, instead of on top of each other, when fastening the strap pad over it, and it worked very well. The reason I have at least two in each size is because I occasionally forget to take them off when I switch bags, and if I need a different size for the purse I'm switching to, by the time I need the previous size, I may have forgotten which bag I was using. I appreciate being able to remove the pads quickly from one bag to another. They grip the shoulder well, keeping even the heaviest of my bags from sliding. They are as comfortable as any of the padded shoulder strap pads I have ever used. I would have liked them to be a bit longer, to grip a larger area but other than that they work as intended and are more comfortable than expected.
