English Collocations in Use Intermediate Book with Answers: How Words Work Together for Fluent and Natural English (Vocabulary in Use)

説明も手短で、わかりやすい。

まだ全部読んでないですが、カラー写真付きで説明も読みやすいものです。難解な単語を使わず、中級者でも十分理解できます。 たた、他の方もレビューしている通り、この分厚さにしては値段が高いかなと思います。 ほかにもイディオムやグラマーな本を考えてたので、揃えるとなるともう少し安価な方がいいですね☆

結論から言うとけっこうムズい。CEFR B1～B2向けって本には書いてあるけど、体感B2～C1くらいな気が。C1くらいでも能動語彙としてはまず出てこないようなコロケーションが多く収録されてる気がする。↓ ・rock-bottom price ・hardened criminal ・piercing cry ・raucous laughter ・shrill voice ・subdued colors 英検1級とかの試験だとコロケーションができなくても単語ゴリ押しでイケてしまうことがあるので、合格した後でもこの本を1冊やってコロケーションを補強しておくのはアリだと思う。

配達までえらく長いなと思ったら海外から届きました。にもかかわらず、4000円以下だったので、ちょっと感動です。 さて、中身ですが、姉妹書の文法本と比べるとページ数字は少ないですが、ページあたりの英語の量が違います。結構びっしり書いてあります。なので、ページ数が少ない事は気になりませんでした。レベルはトイック600の私からするとちょっと難しい。 まあいい本ですよ！

内容はキャンブリッジなだけに非常に良い。よくある間違い集をギュッと詰め込んでいる。ネイティブに近づくにはよい一冊。ただこの薄さ。ちょっと高すぎるな〜！語学教官より
